  1. Having had a little cry at the sweet lion video earlier I have since watched the feature documentary, ‘Christian The Lion’, on You Tube. It’s amazing. Christian was bought by two Australians in London from Harrods in 1969. How insane does that seem now. He got too big for their flat and, along with Bill Travers from ‘Born Free’, they managed to get him back to Africa to be reintroduced into the wild, with the help of George Adamson, who rehabilitated and lived with lions and was the subject of ‘Born Free’. George is credited on Wikipedia as being one of the founding fathers of wildlife conservation. He was killed by poachers in 1989. Amazing man. You should watch the doc.
